Christopher and Robyn Selby have been animal lovers their entire lives and have owned several breeds over the course of their lives. Ten years ago, shortly after they got married they were gifted a beautiful male fancy fawn by the name of Smudgie from their aunt Nancy. The love, energy and traditional boxer goofiness brought them so much happiness that they decided they would like to bring this breed to other families across the United States. 

In 2020 C n R Breeders LLC was recognized by Badass Breeders 

C n R Boxers has partnered with Mulvane Animal Clinic and Newton Animal Hospital for the puppies and momma initial and ongoing care. 

Our dogs are family and treated as such, we do not have kennels and promise we never will. They sleep with us and live with us. Our momma's have their own "Whelping Barn" when the time comes. 

Our puppers from the time they are born, right up until they leave for their forever homes are touched, socialized and cared for by human hands every day of their lives. The first two weeks after they are born, receive 24 hours a day supervision. Our "intern" Mariah sleeps with them during the night time hours and makes sure Momma is being careful and attentive. 

The puppies have their tails docked on day two or three as well as their dew claws. Chris is present during the procedure and assists the veterinarian. 

After four weeks they will receive their first set of shots. Momma always has to ride along and supervise. This is also a great time for everyone to get their worming program started. 

Four weeks is when the fun really begins! We begin making plans for pickup or "unification day". Chris and Robyn provide weekly updates via FaceTime chats as well as daily Facebook posts and video. 

Eight weeks and its time to go home. This is always a very emotional time for us. Many tears are shed both happy and sad. The families we help complete are the best smiles we can possibly receive. The sadness we feel is very difficult sometimes, but we know they will be safe because we have personally vetted and gotten to know all of our parents.
